Our Story
Easy Solar was founded in Sabah in 2014 with a simple belief: every roof should do more than keep out the rain — it should help power a better life. We started by helping early adopters turn their rooftops into clean power assets that could generate income, and prove that solar made sense in the real world, not just on paper.
As our work expanded, it moved from individual buildings to whole communities. One of our defining moments was seeing a remote community light up properly at night for the first time — not just a few dim bulbs, but safe, reliable lighting that changed how people lived, studied and worked after dark.
Over time, we were increasingly called in to solve complex power problems for sites facing unstable grids and heavy reliance on diesel. Designing solar and battery systems that kept critical loads running — even when the grid didn't — showed us how much peace of mind reliable power can bring to a business and the people who depend on it.
Today, those experiences shape every system we design, from homes to commercial SELCO, hybrid and off-grid sites. Our goal is always the same: reduce costs, keep critical loads running and quietly support a better quality of life for the people and communities who rely on their power.
